These are spread over 2 floors with 4 sea view bedrooms (2 per floor) with air conditioning, terrace or balcony, sauna, fitness room, private pool, whirlpool, both pools with panoramic sea views & only approx. 200 m from the sea. A very nice restaurant, which is very much appreciated by our guests, is located directly on the waterfront (open from June). The local baker delivers daily to the front door on request (summer and winter).

The spacious Captain’s Villa® Seadream is located on a beautifully planted and enclosed plot of over 1,000 square meters. The vacation home impresses with its outstanding location 60 m above the sea with unrestricted, direct panoramic sea views. The villa is designed in such a way that you can see and enjoy the expanse of the sea from every room.

The detached vacation home for exclusive use is officially categorized with five stars. It offers you plenty of light-flooded open space on an above-average size of 400 square meters. On each of the two floors there is an open, high-quality branded fitted kitchen with chic and robust granite worktops, branded electrical appliances and extensive equipment. On the upper floor, the kitchen together with the dining area and the living room with sea views form a large, bright and friendly space with high ceilings.

The large sea view terrace with pool and whirlpool is located on the lower level. Very comfortable sun loungers and seating areas invite you to relax there, as does the beautiful, well-tended garden with many endemic plants, such as oleander, lavender bushes, olive and lemon trees and a herb bed. Our guests like to use this for fresh salads, but also for barbecues. A Weber BBQ gas grill is available for you.

Another special feature of the Captain’s Villa®Seadream is the direct access from all rooms to the balcony or terrace with sea view. The attractive holiday home is fully equipped with high-quality furniture and fitted kitchens. The bathrooms, guest toilets, solar system, air conditioning/heating, pool system and all the technical equipment are state-of-the-art. The pool is brand new and now also has a non-swimmer area. The mosaic and pool technology have also been renewed. The new electrolysis process for cleaning the pool water is gentle on the skin.

Seadream Villa is inspected and certified by Captain’s Villa®, in addition to the official 5* awarded by the local authorities.

NATURE & ENVIRONMENT

We appreciate the wonderful nature in the surrounding area. The sea is deep blue and crystal clear. Nature is untouched. We continuously maintain our garden, using only natural materials. We have also taken various measures to protect the environment.

The hot water production is supported by high-quality and efficient solar panels. We also use various solar lamps to enhance the wonderful ambience by the sea.

However, the 5000-liter cistern is a major eco-highlight of Captain’s Villa Seadream. The collected rainwater is gently treated using an electrolysis process and fed into the swimming pool. This is not only environmentally friendly, but also kind to the guests’ skin.

It is also possible to separate waste. In addition to the normal waste garbage can, there are four different waste bags (paper in the blue bag, plastic in the orange bag, glass in the yellow bag and organic waste in the brown bag). The waste is placed on the street by our facility manager on the appropriate days. We take care of it.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS

Captain’s Villa Seadream is located in SEVID, away from the hustle and bustle, above a very idyllic and inviting bay with beautiful fishing boats. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the sea and the idyllic restaurant right on the water. Within a few minutes by car, you can reach the Sevid peninsula with its gently sloping beaches, a very nice new beach bar and another popular restaurant. There is also a small supermarket.

The well-known bay with beach called “Stari Trogir” and other dream bays can be reached within a few minutes by boat. If you are interested, we will be happy to help you with boat rental and attractive excursions.

An appealing selection of very nice restaurants can be found along the marina in the village of MARINA, which is about a 10-minute drive away. There is also a supermarket and a pharmacy.

A larger selection of stores and markets can be found in TROGIR, approx. 30 minutes away. The market there offers a great selection of local products. The market hall with fresh fish and countless restaurants in the old town round off the offer.
Two very large supermarkets are also located there and stock pretty much everything your heart desires.

TOURIST HIGHLIGHTS

C U L T U R E
There are several UNESCO-listed sights in the vicinity of our villa.

These include the UNESCO-awarded “Cathedral of St. James” in the attractive old town of SIBENIK, about an hour’s drive to the north of our villa. Also of interest is the “Fortress of St. Nicholas”, part of the Venetian fortification system, which is located in front of the town but is not on the UNESCO list.

TROGIR – the most popular town among our guests, about 30 minutes away – offers a very attractive medieval “Old Town”, which has been recognized as a whole by UNESCO. In addition to the “St. Laurentius Cathedral”, the “Kamerlengo Fortress” is also very attractive, located directly on the very beautiful and Mediterranean promenade by the sea with numerous restaurants and bars. The old town impresses with its numerous idyllic alleyways and many small stores selling local handicrafts.

The attractive town of SPLIT is about an hour’s drive away and is well worth the trip, as it is also home to historical sights and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed “Diocletian’s Palace”.

N A T U R E
Two national parks are about an hour and a half away:

KORNATI National Park
It consists of 89 islands, named after the cliffs facing the open sea – known as “crowns”. The national park is particularly popular with sailors, but also with visitors who take boat trips through the archipelago. Although the vegetation on the islands is predominantly sparse, the idyllic bays are very appealing in contrast. Crystal-clear water invites you to snorkel and marvel at the untouched nature and wildlife.

KRKA National Park
Known from scenes in Winnetou films, it not only offers unique film backdrops, but also opportunities for swimming right next to waterfalls. Crystal-clear and cool water is guaranteed. Our guests find this excursion destination very attractive and rate it as a “must-see”. The distance is approx. one and a half hours. Due to its location close to the city of Sibenik, both highlights can be combined as a day trip.

There are also tours to the “Blue Grotto Croatia” on the island of Biševo, for example, as well as an excursion to the “Golden Horn”, a beautiful sandy beach near Brač on the island of Bol. Boats depart from Trogir, Kastela or Split.
Private boat tours, sailing trips and diving tours can be booked on site on request.

For CHILDREN
Every year at the end of June, the two-week “International Children’s Festival” takes place in the town of ŠIBENIK. The streets are filled with children from all over the world playing. There are performances and creative workshops.
Not far away are the KRKA waterfalls, which have also been featured in Winnetou films. There is also the opportunity to swim next to the waterfalls.
Water lovers are particularly well catered for in Croatia, with swimming and snorkeling as well as kayaking and motorboat trips, sailing trips and boat excursions.
